Better Future for the Blind

Working for a

Better Future for the Blind

The aims of our group :

• to raise public awareness of the needs of the blind.

• to bring visually impaired people into work.

• work in partnership with other groups and share information and concerns.

• work for better access to leisure services.

How are we achieving our aims?:

Our aims are being achieved by various campaigns in the press, radio and public meetings. We are constantly working to facilitate people into work and are especially concerned with assisting young people in gaining the confidence to seek employment. We also aim to improve links with voluntary groups and ensure that volunteers have full support. We are improving access to leisure facilities, giving people the chance to participate.

Better Future for the Blind is a friendly organisation offering straight-forward and practical information and a helpful signpost to other services.

Can you help us to help the blind to help themselves?

We want you to join our group, share your ideas and enthusiasm with us and help us to achieve our goals!
